This title is intended for ages 4+. In this colourful and fun series, only 200 words will give toddlers basic facts about the baby animal. Photographs are bright and colourful. Watercolour paintings show the humorous side of each animal. The story begins as Mr. Quad finds a sick flamingo. He takes it home and nurses it back to health. In doing so Mr. Quad observes color changes in the then-named Ingo Flamingo. He contacts the veterinarian and finds out that he has made a mistake in the food given to Ingo. This mistake leads to the discovery of the item responsible for his flamingo friend’s color change. They sell the new item as flamingo color-changing food. A simple goodwill gesture leads to a new friend, discovery, and some financial gain.
